The Lenox Tools 308011200P Bi-Metal Speed Slot Plumber's Hole Saw 17 Piece Kit with 12 Different Sizes is designed with the most common sizes used by plumbers. These hole saws feature a patent-pending speed slot on the side, which is a staircase design that allows for easy plug removal with the use of a screwdriver. The slot is wider than most and is placed lower on the hole saw, providing multiple leverage points to easily eject the plug.

The hole saw is 10-percent taller than traditional hole saws, enabling cleaner cuts through two-by lumber. The speed slot efficiently removes sawdust and chips while producing a fast cut and preventing the plug from getting stuck. The saw has a high heat-tolerant coating that reduces gumming, and there is no paint on the inside, making plug removal easier.

This new design offers up to twice the life of Lenox's previous model when cutting metal. An enhanced tooth geometry, a thin kerf design, and the advanced coating contribute to the efficiency of the cutting process by removing material faster, thereby generating less heat while cutting.

The set includes hole saws with the following diameters: 3/4-inch, 7/9-inch, 1-1/8-inch, 1-1/2-inch, 1-3/4-inch, 2-1/4-inch, 2-9/16-inch, 3-inch, 3-1/2-inch, 4-inch, 4-1/4-inch, and 4-1/2-inch.
